Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
In the realm of Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), as a diligent Financial Analyst, we undertake a spectrum of crucial tasks on a monthly basis, employing advanced Excel techniques and leveraging inputs from Yardi.
JOB SUMMARY
Support the Finance Director in building financial models, maintaining databases, capital raising, deal diligence, and tracking and analyzing KPI’s. Financial Analyst will work primarily with Finance and Capital Markets, but will also work cross departmentally with Investments, Analytics, and Technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building and maintaining various financial models for effective decision-making
- Maintaining databases for investor reporting and loan management platform
- Assisting with capital raising
- Deal due diligence
- Tracking and analyzing KPIs
- Preparing detailed annual financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts
- Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitoring and tracking financial performance, and analyzing variances
- Participating in cross-functional projects and assisting other finance teams as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Engineering, Math, Finance, Accounting or related bachelor’s degree from top university required.
- Proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Previous real estate / finance experience through coursework, internship, or previous role required. Strong excel skills are a must. Private equity experience strongly desired. Experience with waterfall modelling desired.
- Candidate must be highly analytical, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Candidate will be expected to deliver on long term projects in a timely manner while managing day to day work load.
- Must be willing to work long hours when necessary.
